Art Classes ages 8-12

For ages 8-12.This is NOT a craft class and is only for young people interested in learning and practicing art techniques. Each 2 hour class will begin with a lesson on a known artist and will be followed by exercising THAT artists techniques. All supplies are included for this class and your young artist will go home, each day, with their work of art, history lesson, and vocabulary for the day.
Starting Sept.
We have 4 classes available for this age range.
For home schooled children the classes are Mondays from 1-2:30pm or Wednesdays from 2-3:30pm.
For traditional schooled children the classes are Mondays from 3:30-5pm. or Thursdays from 3-5pm.
Only the first 8 students will be accepted( for each time slot), space is limited.
Cost is $105 $80 a month and includes all supplies and 14-16 hours of instruction a month. Classes are kept small as to give each child individualized attention.
If your child is involved in a Home school program that offers financial help for extracurricular activities…Let us know and we will work on becoming an approved vendor through your program.
Twice throughout the year, Original Ink Art Gallery will be transformed into a one night showing event of your children’s work. They will chose their own pieces to be displayed and have a REAL gallery show for their families and Wrightwoods locals to enjoy. Promoting encouragement and pride in their work and accomplishments.
